Properties of its active ingredients:

• Plant-Based Chitosan: This is a new ingredient (KiOnutrime-Cs®) of plant origin, created as an aid in weight management and cholesterol control. Plant-based chitosan has a structure equivalent to chitosan derived from crustaceans, with the advantage of being 100% plant-based, non-allergenic, and free of heavy metals. Another advantage lies in its effectiveness, as its molecular properties allow it to bind four times more fat than traditional chitosan.
• Phaseolamin: This glycoprotein, derived from kidney beans, inhibits the action of the alpha-amylase enzyme. Generally, carbohydrates are converted into glucose by this enzyme, which is released by the pancreas and saliva. Glucose serves as energy, but if it is not used, it is stored as fat. Phaseolamin slows the digestion of starchy foods, allowing consumed carbohydrates to move to the intestine without being converted into glucose. Each gram of Phaseolamin 20,000 inhibits 20,000 amylase units. One gram of Phaseolamin neutralizes 6,875 calories of starch in vitro (each capsule can neutralize the equivalent of 300 grams of dry pasta). This efficacy has been confirmed by two in vitro studies. Phaseolamin 20,000 is very important for limiting the effects of high carbohydrate consumption on the body.
• Chromium: This trace element is essential for the body as it regulates sugar (glucose) metabolism and helps insulin distribute glucose to cells. It is well-known for reducing sugar cravings because it regulates glucose levels. A chromium deficiency in the body reduces the ability to metabolize glucose and fats and inhibits protein synthesis.

Composition per capsule:

• 300 mg of vegetable chitosan.
• 200 mg of phaseolamin 20,000.
• 20 mcg of chromium (chromium picolinate).
