Ghee is known as the Gold of Ayurveda. It is more than just clarified butter, as the long, manual cooking process removes carbohydrates (lactose), proteins (casein), water, and impurities, resulting in a versatile, nutritious, and long-lasting fat.
Ghee is one of the healthiest fats for the body, as it is made with organic, unsalted butter, contains no trans fatty acids, and does not raise cholesterol levels.
Ghee is one of the essential ingredients in Ayurvedic cuisine due to its versatility. You can add it to your favorite dishes like purees, pasta, and rice; use it for baking and roasting; or spread it on toast. It's ideal for sweet dishes and a real find for those who enjoy making cookies, cakes, muffins, and other desserts.
It is a healthy fat that has been prepared and used for thousands of years. Besides India, where it originated, it was consumed in much of Europe and the world before refrigeration became available.
Because it contains no water, ghee doesn't require refrigeration and is perfectly suitable for long journeys. It can be stored in the refrigerator or cellar for years. Ayurveda states that 50-year-old ghee can cure most unwanted physical and spiritual ailments.
Its smoke point, the point at which molecules begin to break down and toxins are produced, is high (250˚C), which is well above the usual cooking temperature (180˚-200˚C), therefore making it an ideal oil for cooking at high temperatures, much better than most vegetable oils that usually have a low smoke point, with the exception of coconut oil.
Its golden yellow color, pleasant aroma, versatility, and exquisite flavor make Ghee a perfect vehicle for the properties of food and nutrients, maintaining optimal body functions.

Why use Golden Ghee?
Golden Ghee is prepared from the raw butter of free-range, pasture-raised cows that live a natural life, in accordance with the high ecological standards of Rudolf Steiner and Maria Thun.
Its preparation is entirely artisanal, with a slow cooking process lasting more than 48 hours, accompanied by careful sounds of Gong vibration and sacred geometry.
• Improves nutrient absorption: being 99.9% fat, it easily penetrates cell membranes and therefore increases the efficiency of the spices and herbs that dissolve in it, helping the absorption not only of vitamins and minerals, but also of phytonutrients.
In Ayurveda, Ghee is recommended in combination with spices, as the spices are roasted in it, releasing all their essential oils and properties.
Adding a teaspoon of ghee to your infusions will help your body better absorb the properties of the herbs.
