Integralia's Passionflower Plus contains passionflower, hawthorn, orange blossom, and valerian . Each of these has the following properties.

Passionflower is a plant belonging to the Passifloraceae family and is commonly found in Central America. It is a perennial with climbing stems, alternate leaves, and reddish flowers. Growing in Central America, passionflower has been used since Aztec times for its sedative properties. This sedative effect is due to its alkaloid composition, including phthalene, harmine, and harmol. Traditionally, passionflower has been used to promote restful sleep, especially for people with insomnia. Its sedative properties are also used to help combat stress and anxiety.
