Dioscorea composita, or Mexican Yam, is a plant native to Mexico used in herbal medicine for its diosgenin content, a compound with estrogenic activity that helps regulate the menstrual cycle and reduce menopausal symptoms. Diosgenin is used as a building block for the production of female hormones in the body.

Active ingredients per capsule:

• 275 mg of wild yam root extract (27.5 mg of diosgenin).
• 75 mg of wild yam root.

Ingredients:

Wild Yam (Discorea villosa) (root extract) (provides 10% diosgenin), bulking agent: gum arabic, vegetable cellulose capsule; Wild Yam (Discorea villosa) (root), maltodextrin (from non-GMO corn); organic rice extract blend.

Instructions for use:
